Susan's artwork...a labor of love- December 2007

Susan has been working nonstop for several months now on a needlepoint project she started several years ago when life interrupted...but she was determined to do the complete job and here is the result of her efforts...

Meanwhile, true to form, Stephen has been in the prone position for much of the time...

Merry Christmas from Portland...
We await the arrival of our sons, Ben and Aris, and their girlfriends, Cheyenne and Stacie, to join us for our first Christmas in Portland. This will be Ben's first visit and we hope he likes it enough to come back often. This has been such a year of gift for us. We wish all our family and friends our love and peace in their lives throughout 2008.

To help you "get in the mood" for the holidays...here's the Drifters 1955 White Christmas cartoon once again. It's great and will never lose its appeal....Watch the video and listen to the golden voices of the stars of days gone by.The lead singer of course is Bill Pinkney (Santa) and the falsetto voice belongs to the late Clyde McPhatter....Merry Christmas one and all.The song was originally recorded by the Drifters in 1954, so turn the volume up - these reindeer can sing! http://www.thecompassgroup.biz/merryxmas.swf
