Wall Update, Summer Flowers and Yard Art- August 2011
Putting the finishing touches on the wall (see last week's post for more pics) including schlepping 8 yards of soil to backfill the yard behind the wall- planting some roses and other perennials are next on our list.
With the help of Abigail, we are adding color to our backyard gardens- refinished two window frames- here is one...

The Portland weather has been nothing but sun, sun, and more sun the past two weeks (did I mention dry and 75-80 degrees?). It is one of the big reasons we love to stay home in the summer. And the flowers like it too!
